Please complete this form to receive your FREE Preventive Care Exam Certificate by email. We offer a FREE exam to one pet in your family on your first visit to Commerce Village Veterinary Hospital as a way of introducing ourselves to you and to welcome you for a tour of our hometown veterinary hospital.
According to the American Veterinary Medical Association, preventative care exams for pets are decreasing in America, while preventable health conditions are increasing such as diabetes, dental disease and intestinal parasites.
When you provide your pet with twice yearly physical examinations it can save you money in the long run, and allow your pet to live a longer healthier life. Preventing arthritis, diabetes, and other health problems allows your pet to have a better quality of life.
During your pet’s exam at Commerce Village Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Putt will perform a thorough head to paw physical examination on your pet looking for any sign of problems. Your pet’s eyes, ears, nose, mouth and teeth, skin and coat condition, heart and lungs, and musculoskeletal function will be evaluated. She will also feel for any signs of abnormal lumps that may indicate trouble.
To make the exam easy for you to understand, Dr. Putt will talk her way through your pet’s physical examination and she will communicate any abnormalities if they are found. She will be glad to address any questions or concerns that you have about your pet’s overall health and care. No one knows your pet better than you, and you know when something may be wrong.
Remember, pets cannot talk to us, and they age more quickly than people do. An exam every 6 months for your dog, cat, or other pet is like an exam every 3-4 years for people.
Take time now to schedule your pets next preventative care examination.
